Lake Charlotte Area Heritage SocietyAcquisitions Policy: The Centre gives top priority to the original records of individuals that
lived, and businesses that operated, in the Lake Charlotte area communities
(primarily West Jeddore to East Ship Harbour) before 1950. The Centre has
a secondary interest in records and resources from the Easter Shore communities
from Musquodoboit Harbour to Sheet Harbour. The Centre has a general interest
in original records pertaining to the communities of the Eastern Shore. The Centre has a special interest in store records that predate1950 from
the area or adjacent areas. Priority is also given to records that span
the 1940 to 1950 period, and records that give evidence of names and demographics
