Heritage Society Mandate

The Lake Charlotte Area Heritage Society is a non-profit provincially registered society with federal charitable organization tax status. The Society's main objective is "to research, acquire, conserve, interpret, exhibit and publicize for the purpose of study, understanding and enjoyment, the material evidence of the human and natural historyof the Lake Charlotte Area on a self-sustaining basis".

The Society currently has five main areas of activity:

  1. Memory Lane Heritage Village
  2. Eastern Shore Archives
  3. Community Photograph Database
  4. The Lake Charlotte Area Oral History Project
  5. The Lake Charlotte Area Heritage Research Project
