Heritage Society Sponsorship
The Heritage Society is continously fundraising to support its various activities.
Finanical support is always welcome. Funds can be directed to specific activities
or they can be used for capital costs and general funding. Please look at
the information below about each of the campaigns and see if you can help
us. Memorial gifts and bequests are also possible. Please contact us directly
to discuss this. Below, is a list of our current funding campaign.
CERTIFICATE CAMPAIGN
This campaign is mostly for individuals, familiesand small businesses who
can contribute to the project as outlined below. Those donating between $50
and $99 will receive a one yearmembership in the Society and a bronze certificate;
those donatingbetween $100 and $249 receive a one year membership in the
Societyand a silver certificate; and those donating between $250 and $499,receive
a one year membership in the Society and a gold certificate.
FOUNDERS CAMPAIGN
This campaign is limited to the first 100 donors.There are three donation
categories: $500 to $999, $1000 to $1999 and$2000 plus. Each donor receives
two, one year memberships in the Societyand an individual plaque on the "Founders
Wall" which islocated in a prominent position within the Village. Each
plaque identifiesthe donors, their category, and provides a standardized
space for apersonal message. Donor plaques are placed on the wall in the
orderin which the donations are received, starting at the top left, andproceeding
line by line. This campaign is particularly suitable forfamilies who want
to recognize family members, past and present.
SPONSORS CAMPAIGN
This campaign is for donors who would like to sponsora specific building,
artefact or Society project with a donationof $5,000 or more. Each donor
will receive five, one-year membershipsin the Society and individual recognition
tied directly to the sponsoredbuilding, artefact or project. Potential donors
interested in theSponsors Campaign should contact the Society to arrange
a meeting todiscuss their specific interest. |
